Overview
The Bitcoin Accumulation Distribution Model puts Bitcoin's price history into context with three color-coded market zones. Explore how the model's outlook changes over time and compare those changes with price movements across different market cycles.
Reading the colors
Green — Accumulation: Highlights periods the model classifies as potential accumulation conditions.
Gray — Neutral: Marks periods when the model does not indicate either accumulation or distribution conditions.
Rose — Distribution: Highlights periods the model classifies as potential distribution conditions.
The line shows Bitcoin's price; its color shows the model's classification for that observation. These zones provide market context rather than a record of individual investors buying or selling.
Exploring the chart
Choose a time range to examine recent conditions or zoom out to compare longer periods. Hover over the line to see the date, price, and zone. Use the logarithmic scale to compare relative price changes across Bitcoin's history, or the linear scale to view changes in dollar terms.
Putting the model in context
Use the zones to explore historical patterns alongside other research. A green zone does not confirm a market bottom, and a rose zone does not confirm a top. Conditions can persist or change while prices continue moving in either direction.
The chart uses daily historical observations, not live prices. Check the latest observation date for data freshness. Historical patterns do not guarantee future outcomes.
